On this guided tour you’ll explore the archaeological heart of Rome.

During the walk you’ll be able to understand the transformation of Rome in the first centuries and the incredible history of some of the most important monuments of the area.


THE APPIAN WAY

The Appia Way was the first highway in history and it served as a direct link between Rome and Capua with the goal to allow the rapid movement of Roman troops towards the South and a direct connection with Greece.

The area can be visited on foot or by bicycle in order to respect this protected area. During the tour we’ll live a long story that unfolds through the centuries, where history and nature merge together.


DOMITIAN STADIUM

This tour is dedicated to the ancient stadium built by the emperor Domitian for the athletic games called “agones”.

Today, part of this stadium is visible underneath the ground, in the heart of Rome! We’ll walk 7 metres below the ground level with the aim to see and touch the ancient ruins and discover the history of this incredible place.


CIRCUS MAXIMUS & FORUM BOARIUM

A walk that tells the story of ancient Rome in one of the most unexplored and evocative places in the city.

During the visit we’ll admire some of the best-preserved ancient monuments in Rome. We will talk about the importance of the Tiber River and its ancient ports, we’ll touch with our hands mysterious marble faces, and we’ll enter some well-known Medieval churches, among the most beautiful in Rome.
