Tuscany attracts tourists also for the uniqueness of its coastal landscape and its marine environment. Its exceptionally mild climate makes it an ideal holiday location all year round. The Tuscan coastline makes variety its strength: the long beaches alternate with the mountains that rise a few steps from the sea, the crystalline blue that surrounds the islands and the small villages rich in history and tradition.
Gulfs and inlets call for adventure and offer a thousand opportunities for fun activities such as snorkelling, surfing, kayaking or more contemplative moments, such as walks at sunset and or a simple aperitif with local food.

  • Orbetello
  • Porto St. Stefano
  • Giglio Island

Argentario is a splendid promontory located on the coast of the province of Grosseto, surrounded by the sea and connected to the mainland via the town of Orbetello. Technically what is called Argentario is actually a mountain, Monte Argentario in fact. It includes two important and popular tourist locations: Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole, located respectively on the north-west and south-east sides, overlooking the sea. Argentario attracts tourists for the uniqueness of its landscape, its marine environment and its exceptionally mild climate, which makes it an ideal holiday location all year round. Sea enthusiasts will be able to go here in the summer to admire some of the most beautiful stretches of coast in Tuscany, with small coves often reachable only on foot or by boat, which offer truly unique shades of blue and splendid sunsets over the Tyrrhenian Sea.
But not just beach life: in the Argentario trekking and mountain biking lovers will find many paths that rise from the sea in the midst of lush Mediterranean scrub up to 635 meters above sea level, offering panoramas and glimpses of rare beauty.

  • Castiglione della Pescaia
  • Elba Island

This itinerary touches a very small part of the Tuscan Maremma, including two of our favorite destinations: Castiglione della Pescaia and the island of Elba.
The island of Elba, the largest island in the Tuscan Archipelago and the third largest in Italy, is at the same time one of the most beautiful seaside resorts in Tuscany.
During a holiday on the island of Elba you can visit typical fishing villages, such as Portoferraio and Rio Marina, be thrilled by granite quarries and mining parks, and also walk in the mountains along impervious paths. For these and a thousand other reasons, the island of Elba confirms itself as a perfect destination for a summer stay, whether for a weekend, a week or a month.
The beautiful Castiglione della Pescaia is the ideal destination for those looking for a beach holiday, but at the same time immersed in one of the most beautiful villages in Tuscany. The historic center is in fact represented by a delightful medieval village, which starts from the coast and climbs up Mount Petriccio, on whose top there is the fortress of an ancient castle.
It goes without saying that from up here the view is breathtaking, and ranges from north to south along the entire Maremma coast. But even those who come to these parts for the sea will certainly not be disappointed: there is a beautiful seafront, an equipped beach with all the necessary services, and a marina where boat excursions depart or where it is possible to rent a ‘boat to enjoy the beautiful coastline in complete autonomy.
