PROGRAM FOR 2 DAYS IN ROME

A plan for 2 days-trip in Rome that includes the most important attractions and guided tours!

1° Day

The first part of the day would be dedicated to the Vatican Museums and St. Peter Basilica.

The Vatican Museums are among the largest museums in the world, for this reason we’ll tend to favour the most important sections in this tour to ensure a good view.

St. Peter Basilica is the largest, most rich and spectacular Italian church. We’ll talk about the history of the area and the most important masterpieces placed inside the church.

In the second part of the day, you’ll discover some of the most beautiful squares in Rome, through a walk in the historic center. The main squares included in this tour are:

  • Navona Square (Piazza Navona)
  • Campo de’ Fiori Square (Piazza Campo de’ Fiori)
  • Pantheon (Piazza della Rotonda)
  • Trevi Fountain (Fontana di Trevi)
  • Spanish Steps (Piazza di Spagna)

Note: Between the two parts you’ll be taken to one of the most excellent local restaurants located in the center.

2° Day

In the first part of the day, you’ll discover the archaeological heart of Rome:

  • Colosseum: the largest amphitheatre of the Roman Empire and the eternal symbol of the city of Rome.
  • Roman Forum: the ancient main square of the city and the social, religious and political center of Rome.
  • Palatine Hill: the place where Romulus founded Rome in 753 BC and place which served as the official residence of the Roman Emperors for over five centuries.

In the second part of the day, you’ll walk inside two very important and interesting areas of Rome:

  • Jewish district (ancient ghetto)
  • Trastevere district.

During the tour it will be possible to discover their histories, passing through the most important alleys, squares, ancient ruins and entering (if you want) some beautiful churches.

Note: Between the two parts you’ll be taken to one of the most excellent local restaurants located in the center.

These itineraries are all reachable from each other on foot.

We always encourage the clients to enjoy the city simply walking through its alleys and narrow streets, it’s a healthy and ecological way to notice beautiful details and hidden places. But in case of disabilities or in case the time is limited, we can provide you these few options:

Reach each site and place easily and quickly (minimum 4 hours per day)

  • Golf Cart:

A unique way to explore the city and move quickly through its narrow alleys (minimum 3 hours per day) 

  • Taxi

  • ONCE THE PLAN AND THE DATES ARE CONFIRMED THE CLIENT PAYS A DEPOSIT OF 20% OF THE TOTAL COST IN ORDER TO HOLD THE RESERVATION AND ALLOW FOR THE PURCHASE OF TICKETS
  • IN CASE OF CANCELATION AT LEAST 20 DAYS BEFORE THE TRIP, A PARTIAL REFUND OF THE DEPOSIT WILL BE GARANTEED (probably the money spent for the tickets will no longer be available)
